The sidewall steel body cords may be exposed, which can cause unexpected rapid air loss during use. As such, these tires may fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 119, New Pneumatic Tires - Other than Passenger Cars.
