0 CARQUEST DOT5 SILICONE BRAKE FLUID Recall Overview: American Grease Stick Company (AGS) is recalling certain bottles of Carquest DOT5 Silicone Brake Fluid manufactured October 9, 2013, to September 15, 2015. The affected bottles may not clearly show the minimum wet equilibrium reflux boiling point (ERPB) rating, and may not contain the words Motor Vehicle on the label where the bottle identifies the contents as DOT Brake Fluid. As such, these bottles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 116, Motor Vehicle Brake Fluids.
