DESCRIPTION OF CONSEQUENCES: FAILURE OF THE WELDMENTS ALLOWS THE TRUNNION TO SEPARATE FROM THE CYLINDER, PERMITTING THE EXTENSION ASSEMBLY OF THE WHEEL LIFT AND THE VEHICLE BEING TOWED TO DROP TO THE GROUND.
