0 TRW DRAG LINK ASSEMBLY Recall Overview: EQUIPMENT DESCRIPTION: TIE ROD ASSEMBLIES MANUFACTURED BY TRW. THE SUSPECT TIE RODS CONTAIN 20 EDL MODEL BALL SOCKETS. CERTAIN OF THE TIE ROD BALL-SOCKET BEARINGS HAVE A BELOW SPECIFICATION CASE DEPTH AND/OR HARDNESS WHICH CAN LEAD TO PREMATURE DETERIORATION OF THE SOCKET. THESE BEARINGS WERE PRODUCED BETWEEN JULY 5 AND OCTOBER 3, 1999.
