2009 PANTHER P150 Recall Overview: PANTHER IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2008-2009 MOTORCYCLES. THESE MOTORCYCLES FAIL TO CONFORM WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 122, MOTORCYCLE BRAKE SYSTEMS. THE STANDARD REQUIRES A STRICTLY MECHANICAL FORM OF ENGAGEMENT OF A MOTORCYCLE PARKING BRAKE, WHEREAS THE PARKING BRAKE ON THESE MOTORCYCLES RELIES IN PART ON HYDRAULIC PRESSURE.
