As such, these vehicles fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 110, Tire Selection and Rims and Part 567, Certification.

In the affected vehicles, the abutting wedge, a component attached to the door jamb to make opening the door easier after a severe frontal crash, may have been installed incorrectly.
